INTRODUCTION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE SYSTEM OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

On the basis of the study of contemporary practices of corporations in global financial markets it is proved that corporate information management system for medium and large enterprises is a necessary tool to ensure minimizing costs and increase profitability of the company. The main aim of the article is to determine the characteristics of information technology in corporate governance in order to improve the domestic business practices and corporations improve their performance in terms of globalization. Research global corporate governance practices and features of corporation information systems allow to select three classes of corporate information systems: local, secondary integrated, large integrated systems. The analysis of national practices of information technology in corporations identified differences functioning of corporate information systems in Ukraine by foreign enterprises, foreign enterprises major problem is the issue of excess data and domestic companies the main problem is their lack; foreign companies solve the problem of collecting and analyzing data, domestic companies involved in the data collection. There is highlighted the problem of information technology in domestic corporations, corporate systems do not meet fully the concept of corporate information management system; reliance on information technology systems that help managers carry out current management of different business spheres; significant cost of purchasing software. It is proved that the determinant in deciding the tasks assigned to Ukraine in the field of information is the current state and trends in the information economy of developed countries, the EU experience to create their own information infrastructure and a broad implementation in all areas of life and business information technology. To solve the existing problems of corporate information systems it is offered algorithm of actions improving information and performance of corporations that will solve the current issues of implementation of corporate information systems, taking into account national legislation and peculiarities of corporate governance, increase the efficiency and transparency of business processes and provide centralized support of managerial making at all levels and in all areas of business companies.
